EPA is an international news pictures agency, based in Frankfurt, Germany. Shareholders of EPA are European news agencies: Belga, DPA (Germany), ANP (The Netherlands), APA (Austria), EFE (Spain), ANSA (Italy), PAP (Poland), LUSA (Portugal), Keystone (Switzerland), MTI (Hungary) and ANA (Greece). EPA has offices all around the world and provides a world-class news coverage of all continents. Belga distributes exclusively all pictures of EPA in Belgium.
AFP is one of Belga's long standing partners. AFP Photo supplies images of news worldwide, in real time. Its 200 staff photographers are backed up by AFP bureaus in 165 countries as well as by a network of stringers. AFP has one of the largest picture libraries in the world - seven million images accumulated since 1930 which may be consulted electronically. The photo service puts out some 600,000 color pictures yearly, distributed worldwide by satellite. Belga distributes in Belgium all pictures of AFP.
